Barrie Fall Fishing Festival Winning Perch Interviews!

Who Caught Barrie Fall Fishing Festival Prize Perch?

Barrie Fall Fishing Festival participants were kept on edge right up until the last minute,when the envelope containing the Barrie Fall Fishing Festival big $1,000 and $10,0000 cash prize perch tag numbers was opened. Lures & Tours special events team was on hand, and privileged to shoot footage of two of the anglers who caught prize winning fish - the woman who caught the first perch, and the family who caught the last perch.
Here is the list of all the people who each caught a tagged perch:

Who Will Win Barrie Fall Fishing Festival $10,000 Perch Purse?

 Barrie Mayor Announcing Barrie Fall Fishing Festival Winners Today! 

Sunday September 30, 2 PM Mayor Lehman will draw the $5,000.00 Barrie Fall Fishing Festival cash draw prize and the winner of the $10,000 tagged perch will be announced.
 So far 9  tagged fish of over 70 tagged perch have been submitted, so expect fishing to be fast and furious this morning in pursuit of the tagged perch that may be worth $10,000 .Each tagged perch is worth from  $500 to $10,000.00 . Sunday about 2.15 one angler may be $10,000 richer!


Barrie Navy League Fundraiser Featured Today

Today's festivities will include music on the EverStart stage,  Popcorn ,Candy Floss,and Slushes  Daily draw prizes. and a fundraiser for the Navy League youth programs.

MERLAND PARK’S 4TH ANNUAL ICE FISHING DERBY DATES HAVE BEEN SET!

Merland Park’s 4th Annual Ice Fishing Derby is set for January 25, 26 & 27, 2013.   Save the date! The number of sponsorship spots for this event are filling, the prizes are coming in, and the cottages are being booked! Proceeds from Merland Park’s 4th Annual Ice Fishing Derby are going to the Kiwanis Club’s Terrifc Kids Program again this year.
